  1. Hi Kristen,

Just finished reading The Vintner’s Daughter and California Wife. I absolutely loved both books. I could not put them down. I’m now having withdrawal symptoms LoL. Do you have another book out?

    • Thank you so much! I’m working on the third, which is complex and spans WWI and Prohibition, so it’s going to be a wild ride for the Lemieux and Donnelly families! I’m also writing a women’s contemporary novel which is keeping me busy. I promise both will be worth the wait!! Would you mind writing a quick review for THE CALIFORNIA WIFE on Amazon? I’d be so appreciative – thanks!!!

  2. I met you at the Barrett Bookstore on Jan 22nd at the book signing for The Forgotten Room. We had a short discussion about the lower east side of New York back in the day. I bought your book TVD also that day, which you so graciously signed for me, I finished reading it the other day and absolutely LOVED it!! As I read it I could see everything that was going on, which for me means I had a great read. So, thankyou for that and I’m excited for The California Wife come out.

    • Dear Mindy – Thank you so much for taking the time to write!! I’m thrilled that you liked the book – thank you so much for reading! It was a delight to talk to you at Barrett Bookstore and you’ve inspired me to plan a trip with my kids to the NYC Tenement Museum. Please try to come to one of my talks/signings in May for The California Wife – I’d love to stay connected with you and trade book recommendations! All the best, Kristen

          • Hi, I enjoyed your presentation at the library on Friday. I finished TCW last night. LOVED IT!!!
you are 2 for 2 – keep up the good work.

          • Thanks so much, Mindy, for coming to the library talk and for reading TCW!! Makes me so happy that you loved it! If you’d be so kind as to write a short review on Amazon, I’d be so appreciative! Thanks so much!! Kristen

  3. I have just read your book “The Vintner’s Daughter” and it was very good. I enjoyed every page. Do you have a second book in progress? If so, will it be a continuation of this one ? Either way, I am looking forward to your next story. Also , I am looking forward to meeting you on September 24, at the Peabody Institute Library in Danvers, Ma.
    See you soon,

    Diane McDermott

    • Hi Diane! Thank you so much for writing me, and for reading TVD! The sequel, which picks up right where TVD ends, will be coming out in early 2016 (as soon as I have a date it’ll be plastered all over my website!). It’s entitled THE CALIFORNIA WIFE.

Make sure you come up and introduce yourself after my talk in Danvers on the 24th! I can’t wait to visit you all on the North Shore – one of my favorite places! Until then, I’d be so appreciative if you’d recommend the book to your friends and/or write a review on Amazon or Goodreads. Thank you so much for your lovely comments!
